About Us

Chief Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast features a magnificent view of the Rocky Mountains from the foothills in Mountain View, Alberta, Canada, a short 15 minute drive down Highway 5 from the Waterton Lakes National Park.

Things to do

Fishing, golfing, horseback riding, boating, and hiking are all popular .. but I like to kick back in the patio chair and take in the big sky sunsets over the mountain range.

Remington-Alberta Carriage Center ~ 15 minutes east in Cardston, Alberta. Largest collection of restored carriages in North America.
Cardston LDS (Mormon) Temple and Visitor's Center ~ also a 15 minute drive. 
Waterton Lakes International Peace Park ~ 15 minutes west
Canadian Chief Mountain Border Crossing / American Carway Border Crossing  is 45 minute drive to south west.
Glacier National Park (Montana, USA) ~ 60 minute drive south west. Going-to-the-Sun road is an additional 50 minute drive.
Frank Slide and Bellevue Underground Mine ~ 120 minute drive north and west
Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Center ~ 60 minutes north
Carriage House Theatre ~ 15 minutes east. Live summer Theatre entertainment and Trolley Ride.
